Where is Elegant Looks located?

Elegant Looks is a business designed strictly for any brides convenience & satisfaction.  We come to you in your own home!   And though we reside in Fairfield, California, we have done over a hundred weddings covering the areas of and surrounding the Bay Area, Sacramento, Yuba city, and Modesto. 

How much do you charge for Bridal Makeup consultations?

Consultations are $50, and are typically held in Fairfield. If this is not possible then our beautician can come to your home, but there will be a traveling fee.

Do you have more examples other then what is shown on the Elegant Looks website?

YES, there are plenty more makeup, updo, mendhi, caketop and invitation samples.  You will have to set up an appointment and we will be happy to show you our work.

Will I be charged additional traveling fees for you coming to my house, on my wedding or mendhi day?

Yes, depending on the city you reside in there will be a commute charge.

Will I have to keep my mendhi on the entire night?

NO, try to keep it on for four hours. You can scrape it ALL off, but must not wash your hands in water for 24 hours.  The mendhi will darken on its own. You will be able to sleep and eat comfortably. The next day your hands will be red in mendhi.

Do I provide my own makeup?

This is entirely up to the bride.  It is recommended that the bride use her own foundation and lipstick, only to prevent last minute disasters of the lipstick color or foundation pigment not being of the correct color or tone, as the bride had preferred.   However, we also carry makeup: a full range of foundation colors, as well as, lipstick colors, incase you decide you would like use all of our makeup.

Will there be time for my mom and sisters to get there makeup or hair done?

YES, but you must let us know ahead of time, so we can arrange the time accordingly, as well as, have enough supplies.

I’m the bride’s sister, if I get my hair done will it stay for her reception?

YES, as long as you don’t sleep on it!

How early would I need to contact Elegant Looks, if I wanted them to design personalized wedding invitations? 

At least 4 months before the date you would like to get them delivered to you.

Would I get to design the invitation myself?

YES OF COURSE! You design, we create!
